Larry is Professor Emeritus in the College of Health Profession at Temple University, and Research Associate in the School of Information Technology, Centre for Community Technologies at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa.  He has conducted numerous NIH funded studies and published over 80 peer reviewed papers on developing and testing behavioral interventions to improve the health of at-risk and marginalized populations. His work has recently expanded to develop and test digital technology solutions to health problems in low- and middle-income countries.
